I received an email from Snorebag's husband saying that
Kathie passed
away last night.

Hi.
Although we've never met, my wife, Kathie Blue spoke
often of you and was quite fond of you.
I am sorry to tell you that Kathie passed away, at home,
at 10 pm last night after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Would you please pass this news on to the on-line
community that meant so much to her?
I will keep in touch and eventually send out a formal
notice about funeral arrangements, once they are finalized. It is
expected that visitation will begin as early as this Tuesday.

Friends may call at the
Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland (705-526-5449) on Tuesday
from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the
Chapel on Thursday October 2nd at 11 a.m. Cremation with an interment
service to follow on Christian Island. Memorial donations to the Rosewood
Shelter, Niijji or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Kathie told me that when she was in pain and couldn't
sleep she would come to this site & read her guestbook because it always
made her feel better. She loved all of her online friends. We
will all miss her greatly. She always had a smile, a kind word &
brought joy to everyone that she met.
